The office of Robert D. Gordon, M.D., has moved to 364 Dorset St., Suite 204, South Burlington, and is doing business as the Center for Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology. Jane Jevons, PA, has joined the practice doing medical dermatology.

Four Seasons Garden Center has moved to 472 Marshall Ave., Williston. The phone number is 658-2433.

Brendan Cosgrove was hired by the Greater Burlington Industrial Corp. as director of business development. A seventh-generation Vermonter, he brings experience in both public and private sectors. He has worked in government and public relations.

Dave Johnson joined the Birds of Vermont Museum in Huntington as part-time museum director. Johnson retired in September 2002 as president and CEO of the Greater Burlington YMCA.

Ross Environmental Associates Inc. of Stowe hired Andres Torizzo to manage the firm's storm water permitting and compliance program. Torizzo is a hydrogeologist.

Jacqueline Hughes, the former general counsel at the Vermont Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities and Health Care Administration, has joined Kimbell Sherman Ellis and its affiliated law firm, Kimbell & Storrow, as an associate.

Erik Hoekstra and Christopher Lyon have joined the staff of Housing Vermont. Hoekstra, the assistant project manager, was a real estate analyst and a project manager for a national communications firm. Lyon operated the offender work program for the Vermont Department of Corrections.

Ascension Engineering has expanded its staff by four members as part of its initiative to pursue new markets and applications. Patricia L. Scott is marketing development manager; Chris Conover and Matt Schneider are senior design engineers; and Scott Totten is software engineer.

ECHO at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain named staffing appointments in preparation for its opening in June. Phelan R. Fretz, executive director, was vice president of programs at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, the nation's largest science museum. Luanne Cantor, director of finance and administration, was director of finance and administration with The Physicians Computer Co. in Winooski. Steven Eric Smith, director of exhibits and facility, was general curator at the Buttonwood Park Zoo in Massachusetts. Julie Silverman, director of education and public programs, has been at ECHO since the Lake Champlain Basin Science Center opened in 1995.

Hackett Valine & MacDonald Inc. announced that Donna M. Little was hired as accountant for both the insurance agency and Yankee Captive Management.

Jager Di Paola Kemp Design announced three staff additions. Kimberly Harrington, design manager, was a partner in a Portland, Ore., design firm. Lara Petersen, account manager, was executive assistant and customer service manager at Leedom International in Norwood, Mass. Dutch Huff, photo studio manager, is a photographer whose work has appeared in several Vermont publications and exhibited at the Maine Photographic Workshops in Rockport.

Sarah Carpenter, Vermont Housing Finance Agency's executive director, announced the hiring of Tonya Judy as administrative assistant. Judy was a teaching parent at Allenbrook Homes for Youth in South Burlington.

Peter Bay, president of The Lighting House in Shelburne, announced that Roger Corbitt was made a partner in the company. Corbitt, an ALA-certified lighting specialist, has been with the company since 1996.

Barbara Lalancette was appointed executive director of the Frog Hollow Vermont State Craft Center. She was Frog Hollow's deputy director for two years and had been acting director since April 2002.

Doug Hull LLC announced the addition of LeRoy Young, CPA, to its staff. Young brings six years' experience in not-for-profit accounting. He is also a certified management accountant.

Bennett W. Schwartz joined Banknorth Group Inc. as senior vice president and director of the bank's new International Banking Group. Based in Burlington, Mass., Schwartz was responsible for customers in Vermont, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut and eastern New York.

Carol McKinney was appointed mortgage loan officer and market manager of New England Federal Credit Union's new loan center at 172 S. Main St., St. Albans. The lifelong St. Albans resident has 27 years' experience in commercial banking.

Tag New Media Web design and development consultants announced that Marie-Josée Legault was named project manager. Legault was with Jager Di Paola Kemp Design.

Wagner Rehabilitation Inc. has moved to 106 Main St. in Burlington. The move provides additional space for the rehab center to start a functional capacity evaluation (FCE) center to work with individuals injured in the workplace. The company also opened an FCE center in Rutland. Linda I. Letourneau of Redstone was the leasing broker of the 1,250-square-foot office space; Steve Donahue of Pomerleau Real Estate was the listing broker, representing the owner, Brick Box.

Joseph M. Finnigan, president and CEO of Vermont Federal Credit Union, announced the hiring of Polly Smith as a loan officer and member service representative in the St. Albans branch office.

New England Financial appointed Peter A. Stevens and Jason Vanderstreet financial representatives. Stevens was with The Super Store in Williston. Vanderstreet is a recent graduate of St. Michael's College.

Moon Studio Color & Hair LLP has expanded its space at 4068 Shelburne Road in Shelburne. Linda I. Letourneau of Redstone was the listing and leasing broker representing the owner, Catamount/Shelburne LLC, in the lease transaction of 1,990 square feet.

The Vermont Community Foundation Board of Directors announced that Brian T. Byres was elected the foundation's president, effective July 1. He will succeed David Rah, VCF's founding president and CEO of 17 years, who retires in June.

Joseph G. Bergeron, president of the Vermont Credit Union League, announced the promotion of John J. Cote as director, information services. Cote was communications specialist for the league.

Douglas J. Wacek, president and CEO of the Union Mutual of Vermont Companies in Montpelier, announced the promotion of Michael J. Nobles to vice president of finance. Nobles joined Union Mutual in 1995.

DuBois & King Inc. announced organizational restructuring of divisions providing client-based services. Included is the promotion of several employees. John K. Benson, P.E., was named vice president of the Environmental Documentation, Permitting and Natural Resource Division; Jeffrey W. Tucker, P.E., is vice president of the Civil Works Division; Roland F. Hilbert is vice president of the Building Services Division; Richard J. Goodall is vice president of the Administration and Finance Division; Steven E. Mackenzie, P.E., is vice president of the Public Works Division; and Ronald C. Lyon, P.E., is vice president of the Site and Land Development Division. The following employees will lead departments in the new operating divisions: Bruce C. Ness, Building Services Mechanical Engineering; Martin L. Peterson, P.E., Building Services Electrical Engineering; Roland VanDyk, P.E., Building Services Structural Engineering; T. Todd Menees, E.I., Civil Works Resources; Russell W. Chad Ahern, a 1999 graduate of St. Michael's College, was named assistant director of the St. Michael's Fund. He was assistant director of admissions for Hartwick College in Oneonta, N.Y.

New England Air Systems hired Amy Patnaude as service coordinator. She has more than 13 years' experience in the HVAC industry.

Lightship Telecom appointed two senior executives. Dante Abbene was named senior vice president of customer relations, and Paul Savas was appointed branch manager of the Vermont sales and support office in Williston.

Benjamin Golnik was named executive director of the Vermont Republican Party. He replaces Susie Hudson, who will work in Gov. James Douglas' administration as executive director of the Vermont Commission on National and Community Service.

SymQuest Group Inc . of South Burlington announced several new hires and promotions. New hires include Greg Van Buren, MCP, network support engineer, and Rick Pingert, MCP, network engineer on the Network Services Team; Curtis Wilkin, field service technician in Montpelier; Ruth Kendrick, human resources/benefits administrator; Melissa Robair, sales representative, Stellar Service and Supply Program; and Emily Minton, client support representative in the Call Center. Promoted were Corey Lacaillade to contract administrator; Tom Ford to senior contract administrator; and Brian Pritts to senior support representative.

The board of directors of O.U.R. House of Central Vermont announced the selection of Priscilla White as executive director. White was hired in 1990 as outreach coordinator.
