Faces&PlacesMarch 2006After 10 years on Shelburne Road in Burlington, Realtor Robert Bing announced that the offices of Robert Bing Real Estate have moved to 67 Pettingill Road, Essex Junction. The phone number is 878-8765. Dr. Bill Schenck of Schenck Chiropractic Professionals in Williston announced that Brenda Smith was hired as financial coordinator. She recently moved to Vermont from Gorham, Maine. Yankee Farm Credit ACA announced that Dean W. Moreau, its president and chief executive officer, will resign on May 31 to join the agribusiness division of CoBank ACB as senior vice president. The board of directors has appointed George S. Putnam, executive vice president and chief operating officer, as acting president and CEO effective May 1. Hoyle, Tanner & Associates Inc. announced the hiring of two employees in the Burlington office. Nathan E. McBryan, E.I.T., joined the highway/structures group as a transportation engineer. He is a recent graduate of the University of Vermont. Michael Liker is a resident engineer in the highway/structures group. Liker has 18 years’ experience in construction and construction administration. Windows & Doors by Brownell announced the addition of April McCurley to the company as a marketing coordinator. She has several years’ experience in advertising. Robert D. Demont, president of Demont & Associates Inc., announced that Lauren Geiger Moye has joined the frund-raising cousulting firm as a full-time associate. She was executive director and producer for Kingdom County Productions in Barnet. Gallagher, Flynn & Co. LLP announced that Jason Hamilton was promoted to audit manager in the Burlington office. Hamilton has been with the firm for more than two years. David Fleury and Steven Julian were promoted to tax managers in the Burlington office. Fleury has more than six years of public accounting experience; Julian has been with the firm for four years. Neville Companies Inc. in Burlington announced two additions to its staff. Stacey Austin, the receptionist, will also assist the office manager and perform some accounting functions. Arthur Cameron was named maintenance coordinator for the Chace Mill. He was with the Milton School District. Ken Ballard, owner of Spherion Staffing, announced the addition of Rishona Salemno as human resources coordinator for the South Burlington office. Kelly Dorman was named relationship manager, retail banking, for KeyBank’s Vermont district. She will provide sales support to the bank’s branches throughout the state, working from Burlington. Dorman, who joined Key in 1985 as a teller, was a business trainer with KeyBank. Northern Stage has hired Monique Peaslee as director of education. Peaslee recently earned her master’s degree in theater education from New York University. Northern Stage’s education program features classes for children, teens and adults. Deb Kelley of Shelburne, a media buyer with 25 years’ experience, was named director/media at Paul Kaza Associates. Kelley was a sales rep for radio and television stations in Vermont and was a member of the original marketing group at Country Home Products. Jessie Angus was named senior media planner. Angus was national print buyer for Staples Inc. outside of Boston. The Snelling Center for Government announced the appointment of Administration Secretary Charles P. Smith as the center’s president and chief executive officer. Smith succeeds Jan S. Eastman, who announced her retirement in December. Smith has a long history in Burlington banking with KeyBank and its predecessors and has been active in many areas of public service. Clare Buckley has been named a partner of Kimbell Sherman Ellis LLP, a government and public affairs firm with offices in Montpelier and Washington, D.C. Buckley joined the firm in 1994. Buckley is a lawyer licensed in Vermont and Massachusetts with experience in municipal and administrative law. Lang Associates real estate firm announced several additions to its staff. Timothy Eaton joined the sales team in the Middlebury office. A Realtor in Addison County since 2004, Eaton was president of Otter Creek Awnings & Patio Rooms. He is this year’s president of the Addison County Board of Realtors. Aaron Haberland joined the sales team in the St. Albans office. He was an independent contractor specializing in new home construction. Ryan Davis was hired as an information technology assistant. He is a student at Champlain College working toward his bachelor’s degree in information security. Hickok & Boardman Commercial Realty has hired Justin T. Martin as commercial sales associate. A 1998 business graduate of the University of Vermont, Martin has experience as a loan officer and originator. Engelberth Construction Inc. announced that Brad Walker was promoted to project manager. Walker joined the company in 1994 as a superintendent and has completed sevdral projects. Bread Loaf Corp. architects, planners and builders announced several new hires. Stephen Cantelli was named project manager in the construction division. He was a project manager at a Newton, Mass., firm. George Holcomb was hired as superintendent overseeing the company’s historic preservation project at Fort Ticonderoga in New York. He was with DEW Construction. Gilbert Stuart was named manager of mechanical/electrical/plumbing services. He worked for many years at Dufresne-Henry before starting Stuart Consulting Services. |
