SCHAEFER NAMED EMPLOYEE OF YEAR

BURLINGTON, VT-- David Schaefer has been named Employee of the Year at David Schaefer & Co. Television Production and Public Relations.

The announcement was made at the company's annual banquet in Burlington.

"We should not be denied the benefits of this kind of recognition just because we are self-employed and work alone," Schaefer told a surprised waiter, who was the only other attendee at the gala affair.

Schaefer said he chose Schaefer for the award because he was the only member of the firm who had achieved membership in the Top Performers Roundtable for all of the previous 12 months.

The Employee of the Year is awarded a preferred parking location.

In his after-dinner remarks, before being shushed into silence by annoyed diners, Schaefer predicted that the future lies ahead.
